Capstone – Practicum (Clinical Practice, Community Health, Pharmaceutical Medicine)
Under the guidance of an experienced external preceptor, students will spend at least 120 hours to gain hands-on experience at a practicum site of their stream. Students will gain introductory competencies at their site and practice soft skills in the workplace such as communication and collaboration. A variety of practice sites are available, in hospital, clinic, community pharmacy, and pharmaceutical industry settings.
In addition, students complete a project to address a medication-related issue or process the practice site.
